Halle Berry pretty sure she'll return as Storm in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'
For a while it looked like Storm was going to be left out in the cold for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," but Halle Berry is pretty sure she'll be seen alongside Wolverine, Professor X and the other mutant heroes once again.
The Oscar-winning actress is the latest "X-Men" vet reported to be reuniting with original "X-Men" director Bryan Singer for the sequel.
According to Shadow and Act, the actress vaguely confirmed the news, with the reporter stating that she's "practically 90% sure." It's not a done deal, however, and "there are a few details that are still being negotiated."
Singer recently said that he was unsure whether Berry's Storm or Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler would return.
Fellow "X-Men" vets Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ellen page (Kitty Pryde), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Ian McKellen (Magneto), and others are slated to appear, although there's been no word on James Marsden (Cyclops) or Famke Janssen (Jean Grey).
They join returning members of the "X-Men: First Class" cast, including Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), and more.
"Future Past" deals with time-travel and alternate timelines, allowing the various films' casts to share the screen.
The cast is coming together quickly as the film starts shooting in April.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is slated for release July 18, 2014.
