NBC may turn John Grisham's 'The Firm' into a TV series

What's newer and fresher than a 1991 legal thriller? Nothing, if you ask NBC.

According to EW.com, the struggling network is in negotiations to give a full-season order to a series version of "The Firm," the potboiler that put John Grisham on the map 20 years ago.

"The Firm," which was adapted as a hit film featuring Tom Cruise, has been on TV radars before, most recently at CBS.

In this incarnation, "Law & Order" veteran Lukas Reiter is adapting the tale of an innocent young lawyer whose dream job turns into a nightmare when he realizes the people he's actually working for.

Stay tuned for more details... If you care.
