Members of Arcade Fire and The Strokes to shoot hoops for charity

Canadian rockers Arcade Fire know how to sell records, win Grammys and cram a dozen musicians on one tiny stage, but can they make a three-pointer at the buzzer?

The upcoming POP Montreal festival will once again feature the annual POP Vs. Jock charity basketball game with a lineup that includes Arcade Fire’s frontman Win Butler and brother/bandmate Will Butler, T
he Strokes’ Nikolai Faiture, "Party Down" star Martin Starr, Luke Bonner, the brother of San Antonio Spurs' Matt Bonner, and more.

Arcade Fire's Régine Chassagne will team with Canadian DJ Kid Koala to create a live soundtrack to the game, while former Talking Head David Byrne will perform at half time.

The game will take place at  McGill University’s Sports Centre September 24 with proceeds going to a local youth-oriented organization called DJ SportsClub.
