Billie Joe Armstrong calls PSY 'herpes,' PSY is like, 'cool.'
Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong is none-too-pleased with STDs, namely Korean singing sensation PSY. Posting on his personal Instragram account, the frontman plugged in a picture of PSY horsey-dancing with the caption, "This dude is the herpes of music. Once you think it's gone, it comes back. #herpes #flareup #pleasegoaway."
Normally, "poopy-head" would suffice or, "I'm wary of your success," but PSY, when asked, was like, "whatevs."
Fuse sat down with the "Gangnam Style" star later this week in a video interview and asked him what he thought of Armstrong's remarks. After defining "herpes" (we could all use a little brush-up), Psy said, "I kinda like it, it’s cool…He said I’m like the herpes… that keeps coming back. I think it’s really cool. Thank you."
Sticks and stones, PSY says. If Green Day wants a cure, maybe the next album is the "Valtrex" of rock.
