Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert debuting duet on BBMAs
Country stars Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert recorded a little duet together, and the unveiling of that tune will happen on May 18 during the Billboard Music Awards.
The performance will feature both singers, who are frequently in competition with each other at awards shows like, well, the BBMAs; the song is "Somethin' Bad," off of Lambert's forthcoming new album "Platinum," due June 3.
"I'm a huge Carrie Underwood fan," Lambert told Billboard. "'Somethin' Bad' is a meshing of our styles and there aren't many female collaborations in our format so I'm really excited to be debuting it on the Billboard Awards."
Underwood and Lambert join previously announced performers Miley Cyrus, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, 5 Seconds of Summer, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Derulo, Imagine Dragons, Luke Bryan, John Legend and OneRepublic at the Las Vegas ceremony. Presenters include Jordin Sparks, Kelly Rowland, Pete Wentz and Wiz Khalifa and more.
