Soundgarden playing the Obama inauguration gala
Reunited Seattle rockers Soundgarden are joining the ever-growing list of performers set to celebrate President Obama at the inauguration gala for his second term.
First, on January 21, Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell will play a solo set at the Commander-in-Chief's Ball, which will also feature Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, Jennifer Hudson, Marc Anthony, and more.
The full band will then hit the stage for the Inaugural Ball. Other scheduled performers will include fun., Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Usher, John Legend, and cast members of "Glee."
Will Soundgarden have to turn down their amps just a tad? Or will "Spoon Man," "Black Hole Sun" and "Outshined" ring loudly through the corridors of power in our nation's capital?
