Aaron Eckhart teases possible Two-Face return in 'The Dark Knight Rises'
The last time we saw Harvey Dent, the Two-Face'd villain was seemingly dead after falling a few stories in a climatic exchange between Batman and Police Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan's magnificent "The Dark Knight." It was assumed that with Anne Hathaway on board as Catwoman and Tom Hardy playing Bane, Dent would not be returning in any fashion. Not so fast.
CBS News spoke to Aaron Eckhart, who played Dent/Two Face the first time around, whether there was a chance he'd reappear in "The Dark Knight Rises," possibly in a flashback. Eckhart surprised the reporter by responding, "I could not possibly say."
Obviously, if Eckhart participates in the production it would be hard to keep it a secret (just look at what happened with Elijah Wood and "The Hobbit" earlier this year). If he does, look for Nolan and crew to just keep how he returns a secret.
