'True Blood' creator's 'All Signs of Death' is dead at HBO
HBO won't be moving forward with "All Signs of Death," a new mystery pilot from Alan Ball and novelist Charlie Huston, according to a variety of media reports.
"All Signs of Death," which starred Ben Whishaw and was directed by Ball, joins "Miraculous Year" on HBO's 2010 pilot scrap heap. The premium cable network has ordered "Luck" to series and is still on a holding pattern on "Tilda," featuring Diane Keaton.
Also in the HBO pipeline and awaiting word are "Documental," the Judd Apatow-produced "Girls" and "Veep," from Armando Iannucci and starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, which will film next year.
Don't be too disappointed for Ball. "True Blood" will return for its fourth season this summer.
