NBC orders more 'Guys with Kids'
Acting on the principle that have to air *something*, NBC has given "Guys with Kids" a slim vote of confidence and ordered four additional episodes.
According to media reports, this will bring the low-rated Wednesday comedy to 17 episodes, even after "Guys with Kids" drew only a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 in its latest airing, showing no real signs of growth.
"Guys with Kids" had been the last of NBC's freshman offerings in limbo. "Revolution," "Chicago Fire," "Go On" and "The New Normal" were all picked up for full seasons, while "Animal Practice" has been pulled from the schedule, presumably permanently.
It helps that "Guys with Kids" is executive produced by Jimmy Kimmel.
