Robin Finck replaces Eric Avery in Nine Inch Nails' tour
This week, Nine Inch Nails saw the loss of former Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery from its live lineup for this summer's tour, but frontman Trent Reznor wasted no time filling up the spot.
Previous Nine Inch Nails collaborator and Guns 'N Roses member Robin Finch has been added to the mix, though it may be unclear if he'll take up guitar or bass in this membership. Reznor announced the addition on his Tumblr with a photo of Finck, who holds a guitar, while Josh Eustis holds a bass.
Whatever he holds, it will be clearer when the band kicks off their stint on July 26 at Fuji Rock Festival.
"We are deep in the rehearsal process and it feels exciting and great to be back at this," Reznor posted on Tumblr. "Lots of information, surprises and sweat headed your way."
Andrew Belew of King Crimson and NIN collaborators Alessandro Cortini and Ilan Rubin round out the lineup.
