'Avengers' reunion: Scarlett Johansson joins Robert Downey Jr. in Jon Favreau's 'Chef'
Looks like there's a little "Avengers" reunion being cooked up.
Scarlett Johansson is joining Robert Downey Jr. in Jon Favreau's upcoming film "Chef."
"Chef" centers on Carl Casper (Favreau), who starts up a food truck business after losing his cushy culinary job. Johansson will play Molly, a restaurant manager who will provide a love interest for Casper, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Downey's role has yet to be revealed. It also stars Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo and Bobby Cannavale.
Downey, of course, has played Marvel superheo Iron Man in four films, including last year's suer hero smash "The Avengers." Johansson starred alongside him in "Iron Man 2" and "The Avngers" as the sexy secret agent Black Widow. And Favreau has produced and starred in all three "Iron Man" films, while also directing the first two.
"Scarlett is a tremendous talent and I'm honored to be collaborating with her again. I'm so fortunate to be working with such a fine ensemble," said Favreau in a statement.
Karen Gilchrist and Aldamisa Co-Chairman Sergei Bespalov are producing.
Production on the film commences July 8 in Los Angeles.
