Trent Reznor's How to Destroy Angels cancel remaining summer shows
Trent Reznor put to of his bands on tour this summer -- Nine Inch Nails and How To Destroy Angels -- but just one of them pulled out of its remaining festival dates.
Reznor's wife and HTDA bandmate Mariqueen Maandig made the announcement via Twitter that the band will not be performing at the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans and the Mountain Oasis music festival in Asheville, N.C.
"[W]e're very sorry to announce that due to unforeseen production conflicts @destroyangels will be unable to perform at voodoo & mountain oasis," she posted. "our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience, we tried everything to make it work. we will be back."
HTDA and Nine Inch Nails were scheduled to play at both festivals. NIN remains on each.
HTDA released full-length "Welcome Oblivion" earlier this year. It was only a couple months later that Reznor announced a NIN comeback album and summer festival tour. What didn't work out about the shared dates, you think?
