CW sets 'Whose Line,' 'Breaking Pointe' premieres for summer
The CW has set up its lineup for what promises to be the network's busiest summer yet, which is still only "busy" in relative terms.
The triumphant return of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and the dating show "Perfect Score" will premiere on Tuesday, July 16. On their first night, both half-hour shows will air full hour episodes. Starting the following week, "Whose Line" will air new episodes at 8 p.m. followed by an encore at 8:30, followed by a new "Perfect Score," which will be followed by an encore at 9:30. Weird, right? Just a bit.
The dancing reality show "Breaking Pointe" begins its second season in the 9 p.m. hour on Monday, July 29. The CW promises more drama from Salt Lake City's Ballet West.
Two days later, the "Survivor"-esque reality competition "The Hunt" -- They want you to think "Hunger Games," since participants are dropped in an enclosed wilderness area called "The Arena" -- will premiere on Wednesday, July 31 at 9 p.m.
The CW has yet to announce which drama encores will be running along with those new reality offerings.
