"New Moon" isn't the only thing causing teen and pre-teen girls to lose their heads this week.

A miniature riot broke out in a Long Island mall today (Nov. 20) over Justin Bieber.

More than a thousand of the 15-year-old singer's largely underage fanbase came out to the Roosevelt Field mall for an autograph signing, but when the teeming masses overwhelmed security, Bieber canceled and a teenage wasteland broke loose. One young girl was hospitalized and one was tasered and arrested -- no word on if it was the same girl.

Bieber Tweeted his condolences: "Im sorry to everyone who was in Long Island at the Mall 2day. I was just trying to come meet fans and never meant to dissapoint anyone."

His "My World" album was just released on Tuesday.
