There will be a change atop The CW's "Supernatural."
According to Deadline.com
, Sera Gamble is leaving her role as co-showrunner of "Supernatural" in order to concentrate on development.
In her place, "Supernatural" veteran Jeremy Carver will return to the show after a stint on Syfy's "Being Human." Carver will join Robert Singer as co-showrunner.
This is good news for "Supernatural" fans, because there isn't much point to bringing in a new showrunner if you don't expect your show to be renewed. The CW has made no official decision on the fate of "Supernatural," but the steady Friday performer is, indeed, expected to be back next year.
