Angelina Jolie may direct Brad Pitt in "Africa"
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might be joining forces on the big screen, and it won't be for a much-delayed sequel to "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
The married superstars are rumored to be working together on Jolie's next directorial feature, "Africa," about famed archaeologist Richard Leakey, the son of Louis and Mary. Pitt is rumored to be taking the starring role in what promises to be an epic feature. Roger Deakins, who last worked with Jolie on "Unbroken," is alleged to play cinematographer again.
The biopic, which could begin filming this summer, was written by "Forrest Gump" scribe Eric Roth. Jolie and Pitt also collaborated on her upcoming feature "By the Sea," which she also wrote.
