Marc Webb's reboot of Marvel Comics' wall crawler in "The Amazing Spider-Man" is still just under 11 months away from hitting theaters, but Sony PIctures appears to be happy with what they have seen so far.  In a bold move, the studio has already slotted a sequel for the fourth big screen Spidey pic in 2014.  "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will be released on May 2, 2014.  A lot can happen in the next three years, but this is mostly about Sony keeping competing tentpoles off of a key summer release date. On the other hand, it also lets Andrew Garfield, the new Peter Parker, know he'll be wearing lots of spandex over the next couple of years.  "The Amazing Spider-Man" will swing into theaters on July 3, 2012.
