Surprise, Alicia Silverstone desperate for 'Clueless' sequel

Following in the footsteps of Sylvester Stallone, Alicia Silverstone is looking to return to one of her more beloved -- wait, possibly the only beloved character in her career: Cher, the ditzy, but charming popular high school student from 1995's "Clueless."  According to Zap2it, Silverstone was recently seen chatting an updated version of the movie with writer/director Amy Heckerling.

It's unclear what Paramount Picure's interest is in seeing where Cher is 15 years later (laid off?  a former contestant on the "Real World"?  Producing a "Hills"-like reality show?), but the possibilities are semi-endless.  And with sequels or reboots to "Beverly Hills Cops" to "Footloose" in the works, you can't imagine they wouldn't consider it.
