Margo Martindale, Beau Bridges join Showtime's 'Masters of Sex'
Showtime's Masters & Johnson pilot "Masters of Sex" has added Emmy winners Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale.
The '60s-set pilot features Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as Masters and Johnson, respectively, and will feature Bridges as University Chancellor Barton Scully and Martindale as Masters' secretary Miss Horchow.
The pilot has also added Caitlin Fitzgerald as Masters' wife Libby.
Based on Thomas Maier's book "Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love," the "Masters of Sex" pilot will begin production in New York next week with John Madden directing.
Martindale's ongoing involvement in the project, should it go to series, will vary based on the respective fates of her CBS' drama "A Gifted Man" and her ABC pilot "Counter Culture."
