Damon Wayans Jr. is leaving 'New Girl' again
"New Girl" is about to deal with the departure of Damon Wayans Jr. for a second time.
According to TVLine.com, Wayans will be leaving "New Girl" at the end of the comedy's fourth season. He previously left "New Girl" after the pilot when "Happy Endings" earned a surprise renewal and then returned to "New Girl" in the third season after "Happy Endings" was cancelled.
"We love Damon and are so lucky to have had him return for the past season-and-a-half," "New Girl" creator Liz Meriwether tells TVLine. "We are working on crafting an exit for him that will leave the door open for many more returns, especially since Coach is our resolution to the upcoming ‘Who’s Jess’ Baby Daddy?’ storyline."
That last part probably isn't true, though "New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel is pregnant.
["New Girl" technically hasn't been renewed for a fifth season yet. It will be. But it hasn't been, yet.]
