Anyway the movie was great, plenty of action scenes and the interactions between the individual members of the team were fascinating.
It reached the $1b mark as quickly as Avatar.
I thought Whedon and Penn stayed broadly true to the comic. Indeed the writing and directing was very impressive!

Amy It likely did not affect there working relationship at all. The 50$ million probably comes from back end deals, which only apply after its calculated how much money the movie has made. Starting out they were probably all about the same. Not too mention, they are all professionals and understand that the bigger name gets more money...not saying its right, but its how things are.
