Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace to get revenge in 'Dead Man Down'
Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace will soon be seen in the thriller "Dead Man Down," directed by Niels Arden Oplev. FilmDistrict recently picked up the U.S. distribution rights.
"Dead Man Down" centers on a young woman (Rapace) who blackmails the crime boss who wronged her. Farrell will play the crime boss' underling who eventually teams with Rapace's character for a violent revenge scheme, according to Deadline.
It co-stars Terrence Howard ("Iron Man") and Dominic Cooper ("Captain America"), and was written by J.H. Wyman ("Fringe").
Oplev and Rapace previously teamed on the Swedish film version of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo."
Rapace will soon be seen in Ridley Scott's "Prometheus," while Farrell will next appear in the remake of "Total Recall," opposite Kate Beckinsale and Bryan Cranston.
