'Wipeout' host is bouncing away
Jill Wagner is leaving her job as co-host-type-thing on ABC's hit ball-bouncing drama "Wipeout."
"After four seasons of co-hosting Wipeout I have been given the opportunity to pursue new directions in my acting career, which I am very passionate about," Wagner tells TV Guide Magazine. "I am extremely grateful to all those at Wipeout, Endemol and ABC, who have been so supportive of me through these years."
The magazine reports that although Wagner will remain on "Wipeout" through the show's spring and summer installments, she'll then turn her attentions to her acting career.
Previous credits for Wagner included "Punk'd" and "Blade: The Series."
Meanwhile, John Henson and John Anderson are expected to remain with "Wipeout."
