Plus: 'Thor's' Loki to appear in more Marvel movies, John Chu talks gritty 'GI Joe' sequel
'Thor' villain Loki will appear in five more Marvel movies
Will the devious god of mischief Loki be the Lex Luthor of the Marvel movie universe? That remains to be seen, but he's certainly going to be popping up as much as Samuel L. Jackson has as Nick Fury. Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in Marvel's next epic "Thor," spoke with Italian website Comicus during the cast's world promotional tour and revealed he's contracted to appear in at least five more films.
"When I signed my contract, I signed to play Loki in five more Marvel movies, but they were unspecified," Hiddleston says. "So, if there will be more movies or not remains to be seen, but I like the idea of Loki turning up in the shadows when people least expect him, but you never know [with] these things."
Loki has been rumored to be one of the primary adversaries in Joss Whedon's "The Avengers." Hiddleston's contract suggests he'll probably be stopping by to say hello.
