Summit Entertainment earned their credentials as tough negotiators last summer after "Twilight" and "New Moon" actress Rachelle Lefevre was re-cast in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" by Bryce Dallas Howard.  Things aren't getting any easier for the studio or its cast when it comes to the final installment(s) in the series, "Breaking Dawn."

It's no secret the reason Summit hasn't officially confirmed that "Breaking Dawn" will be two films is because of contractual negotiations with the cast.  While the franchise's lead trio of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will get what they deserve, it's the supporting players that are becoming a problem.  The Hollywood Reporter's legal blog revealed this week that two of those actors, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, are looking or a lot more money than the studio wants to pay them.  

Like most of the supporting cast, the happy members of Edwar's vampire family the Cullens (Greene and Lutz) were locked up for three initial films, but a fourth was never secured.  So, after getting paid a very low salary for what at times were cameo parts in the first three flicks, the duo want a big salary increase for the fourth and fifth.  The trade reports both actors want about $2 million for each film or $4 million total and are justifying their demands by the increasing involvement of their characters in Meyer's "Dawn" novel (not that the movie script can't be changed).  EW reports that co-star Nikki Reed has already settled for around $750- $1 million for each film which doesn't help their agents.  Also not giving either Greene or Lutz any significant leverage is the lack of any acting skill they have displayed in the first two films.  In fact, the more the duo play hardball, the more likely the studio ditches them for an upgrade.  They did it - mistakenly mind you - with LeFevre and they clearly have no qualms about doing so again.

With production on "Dawn" not expected to begin until October, it could be a stressful summer for both actors as negotiations continue.
