'Damages' may require a DirecTV intervention
"Damages" has critical love and Emmys, but what the series doesn't have is any sort of audience, even by FX standards.
Without a deal for a fourth season on FX, "Damages" is reportedly looking elsewhere for salvation.
According to Michael Ausiello, Sony Pictures Television is currently negotiating with DirecTV to see if a fourth season might be a possibility away from FX. It's unclear if FX would get (or want) some sort of airing window for "Damages" in the same way NBC has aired "Friday Night Lights" after that drama's DirecTV run.
The third season of "Damages" will wrap up on FX on Monday, April 19.
