Eminem taps Pauly Shore, ShamWow guy to shill for 'Recovery'
Slim Shady seems so ultra-serious about his forthcoming set "Recovery," especially with heavy tracks like "Not Afraid" and "Won't Back Down." But he's, erm, not afraid to let others bring the funny for him.
Vince Offer, otherwise known as the ShamWow guy, has some inspiration to offer in his fake infomercial for the set. "You'll be clappin' when you hear Eminem rappin',"
Meanwhile, pal Pauly Shore gets harsh in his review of "Recovery," expressing discontent that Em isn't utilizing his "talent" for accents, oft-heard on last year's "Relapse" (an album Eminem has since dismissed as "meh.")
"He had all these Jamaican dialects, girl dialects, he had all these cool funny goofy little dialects," Shore says in a YouTube review. "I think if you're going to evolve as an artist, you should keep doing the accents."
"Recovery" is out June 21.
