Sam Worthington may star in 'Damaged'
Sam Worthington can't stay away from the genre world. The "Avatar" star, who has already appeared in "Terminator: Salvation" and "Clash of the Titans," is already attached to bring a Sci-Fi "Quartermain" to the big screen and "Dracula Year Zero." Now, the Aussie's new production company, Full Clip Productions, are adapting the graphic novel "Damaged" into a major motion picture.
Created by John and Michael Schwarz and written by David Lapham, the graphic novel (distributed by Radical Publishing follows two brothers who both believe justice can be achieved in different ways - one within the law, the other in a vigilante style. At the end of their careers, they recruit two replacements hoping to step in each of their shows.
In a statement, Worthington admitted his obsession with comics and excitement over the new endeavor.
"As a lifelong fan of comics, I'm so excited to have the chance to create material which I can then personally bring to life on screen," Worthington says. "This is a great opportunity for my partners and I to work alongside a dynamic company like Radical."
