Is a new editor on 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' a bad sign?
Who wants to make a bet David Slade doesn't have final cut on "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse"? EW revealed this week that Slade's initial editor Art Jones has been replaced by Summit Entertainment with Nancy Richardson.
Richardson edited the original "Twilight" and her work will be on display in the Miley Cyrus flick "The Last Song" later this month. The studio told EW they thought Slade's material was "very good," but needed a stronger edit. Ouch. Studios replacing editors on films is nothing new, but it's rare when it comes out in the public, even with a high-profile franchise like "Twilight."
You can judge for yourself if Slade has delivered an acceptable follow up to Chris Weitz's blockbuster "New Moon" by checking out the film's teaser trailer below.
