10 stories you might have missed: Viral videos provide sneak peek of 'Dark Knight Rises'
Plus: the real reason Megan Fox and Michael Bay didn't mix and more
Are these videos hints of Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises'?
Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" won't be released for over a year with production just beginning, but an online viral teaser campaign is already getting fans excited about the possibilities. Three short videos uploaded on TheFireRise's YouTube channel over the past 10 days titled "419," "Outbreak" and "GCN" tease a massive fire at what we assume is a Gotham City skyscraper, an breakout at Arkham Asylum, a figure saying "I'm OK with it, but it's a lot of activity for one dude" (a citizen commenting about Batman?), conditions at Arkham similar to Abu Grab (figures in black hoods and orange prison jumpsuits), indecipherable chanting (perhaps resurrecting Ras al' Ghul?), something driving through tunneled highways similar to those seen in "The Dark Knight," a facebook URL which takes you to 'The Fire Rises' page (feel free to like before it hits 10,000) and the return of GCN anchor Engel played by Anthony Michael Hall. As always, things are ominous in Gotham City. You can watch the latest video below. All three can be found here. Color us intrigued.
