"Again" is one of Janet Jackson's sappiest tunes. I wouldn't rank it among her top 25 Billboard hits personally, but schmaltz didn't prevent her from scoring a nomination for her contribution to the "Poetic Justice" soundtrack with producer-writers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. You know which Janet Jackson movie jam deserved Oscar attention? "Doesn't Really Matter" from "The Nutty Professor 2." That is STILL the groove.
