1. 'Queer Eye For the Straight Guy' (2003-2007)
Concept: Five gay men give straight guys advice on fashion, style, personal grooming, interior design and culture. Usually to the delight of their girlfriends, wives or friends.
Bring it back because: Let's be honest, there are still thousands of men and women across the country that need help with their personal appearance (and not to mention grooming habits). Moreover, how about recruiting a new generation of consultants to take the show to another level. The fun with the original program wasn't necessarily the queer guy vs. straight guy interaction. That got boring quick. What made the show work was the transformation that took place over a short period of time (usually the apt. or house was the most interesting). Right now, it's hard to find a show like that on TV. And, considering how far the country seems to have come regarding tolerance over the past 10 years, wouldn't the interaction on this show be something to marvel at?
