10 New Shows We're Worried About After Upfronts 2012
'Elementary,' 'The Neighbors' and 'Mob Doctor' are among the shows that have us on edge

Why we're worried: After "Sex and the City 2," is there still a broad appetite out there for anything having to do with Carrie Bradshaw? And is AnnaSophia Robb too young to let "The Carrie Diaries" be even an iota as adult as its predecessor? And would The CW let it try to be anyway? The early vibe is more-than-a-little like the really unappealing "Gossip Girl" backdoor pilot, suggesting nothing other than a juvenile, name-dropping, '80s nostalgia-fed young adult fantasy.
Why it could still end up OK: Although they were also behind that failed "Gossip Girl" spinoff, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage have a solid enough track record that we'll cringe and give this one a shot.
