Surprise,'New Moon' lands a Volvo partnership
Movie marketing partnerships are getting rarer and rarer these days. Unless you're a big animated movie it's hard to find blue chip companies to pay for co-branded ads which are effectively free advertising for your movie. Well, "New Moon" isn't having that problem. Not only did they get a major partner, they landed a car company, pretty much unthinkable considering the economy. Volvo has come on board to co-promote "New Moon" in the "What Drives Edward" contest. It features two contests. One is a standard enter for a chance to win tickets to the movie's world premiere in Los Angeles. The second involves an online search that can qualify you to win a Volvo XC60 (which chances are appears in the movie). Find out more here.
