What: A road trip movie set in the 1987 that finds a small town "dirty girl" who just can't say no and a closet gay loner on their way to California to escape the cultural confines of Norman, Oklahoma.
Why: Great supporting cast, intriguing concept and the hope that first time director Abe Sylvia can serve up a period piece that accurately pegs the cultural tipping point that was the late '80s. Oh, and some laughs too.
