Potential talent: JJ Abrams, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Peter Weller, Bruce Greenwood
Why: So far, Abrams has managed to play a good game of "you don't know anything for sure," especially with the identity of the villain for this highly-anticipated sequel, and it seems like the best moment for Paramount to finally confirm a few things would be in front of a packed Hall H, especially if they bring Benedict Cumberbatch along. He's become beloved thanks to his work on "Sherlock," and he seems primed for big-screen stardom as well. Besides, how great would it be to bring the entire returning crew of the Enterprise out on stage together? Throw in Peter "Robocop" Weller, and it seems like Paramount could easily turn this into one of the biggest events of the week. Then again, Abrams sure does like his secrets.
