Potential talent: Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, director Gavin Hood, author Orson Scott Card.
Why: It may feature tweens and teens as its main protagonists, but Orson Scott Card's prescient novel "Ender's Game" is hardly "Twilight" material. However, if Summit is hoping to launch another youth-oriented franchise based on a book series, they'll need to win over the SF crowd at Comic-Con. Fans there will be dying to know if Hood ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine") can pull off both the book's breathtaking Zero-G action scenes and its tricky, wordy political discourse. Butterfield leads the cast, which also features his "Hugo" co-star Kingsley and "Star Wars" icon Ford, whose presence at the Con (he was there in '10 for "Cowboys and Aliens") might help win over those in doubt about the adaptation.
