Back to the Future Part II (1989)

The Robert Zemeckis-directed follow-up to the 1985 time-travel hit features some disturbing consequences stemming from the revision of the past. In 1955, franchise villain Biff Tannen (Thomas F. Wilson) is shown the future of sporting events and bets accordingly, making him the de facto ruler of Hill Valley in the "Alternate 1985," much to the horror of the temporally-displaced Marty (Michael J. Fox). Biff's reign has turned the once pleasant town into a seedy cesspool of drugs, gambling and general immorality. Biff's historical revisionism may not be affect the world at large, but for Marty's neck of the woods, the effects are disastrous.

District 9 isnt an apartheid allegory. It's a satire of South Africa's refugee crisis.

Turok Makto District 9 is showing that human beings are viruses, and the aliens that came were the victims of unforgivable experiments and torture.
