Ellen Dow as the rapping granny in "The Wedding Singer"
Ellen Dow has other notable roles, like the kooky grandmother in "Wedding Crashers" and Disco Dottie in "54," but she's best remembered for busting sweet rhymes in "The Wedding Singer." "Rapper's Delight" has never sounded radder. She infused the already sweet movie with a Sandleresque sense of weirdness, and her confidence and enthusiasm lingered long after we turned our '80s mixtapes off. Dow died in May of this year at the age of 101.
