10 'Justice League' members who deserve a shot on the big screen

How many do you recognize?

Red Tornado

Red Tornado

Pros: A longtime fan favorite, Red Tornado has a power set not duplicated by any competing member of "The Avengers."  A robot, Tornado has the power to control wind and channel it into powerful cyclone blasts from his arms, is extremely fast and has superhuman strength.  He's also a DC character that has barely been mined outside of the comic books.  He would seem fresh and original to many casual super hero movie fans.

Cons: His origin is cumbersome and might take too long to explain or do, um, justice in a 2 1/2 hour movie. Additionally, Red Tornado is a very powerful hero in the DC universe.  If you assume Superman and Green Lantern are part of the League does adding Tornado make the team too powerful?  Who could really defeat them?

"why would he strap on fake wings if he wasn't half-man half-bird?"
Why wouldnt he? If they could help someone fly, i think every body would strap them on.

It drives me crazy how much DC is trying to make Cyborg a part of the Justicr League. I just don't see it all. He's seems so out of place. To me, Cyborg will always be a Teen Titan. I think Cartoon Network's Teen Titans has a lot to do with that, but still, Cyborg is a Titan not a League member. Besides, his costume is horrible. Never liked it. It's just so incredibly bland and boring. I never got why DC didn't adapt Cartoon Networks Cyborg outfit into the comics. It's so much more interesting and bad ass. If WB wants a diverse team, I suggest Black Lightining or even Mr. Terrific. Both are bad ass characters with power sets unlike anything found on the Avengers. Also, I totally think Black Canary should be on the team but not without Green Arrow. I think those two are such an interesting and exciting combo and one with the other always feels lacking.

OMG stfu with this diversity in comic book movies argument. I want them to pick characters depending on how interesting they are, not based what their skin looks like. These characters were created in a country that was mostly white with a mostly white readership. We don't demand China have more white ninjas in thier Kung fu movies. Just enjoy the movies and dont worry about what race a character is.

Krv The reason it's important is because we "minorities" make and spend a lot of money and want to see characters we relate too. It's not PC, it's good business dumbass.

This is like the worst count I ever seen, no one of them (but Aquaman and probably Black Canaray) deserve to be in a Justice League film. And Cyborg's design has always sucked big time.

JamesNall The truth is outside of the top 3-4 characters (Bats, Superman, Wonder, and maybe Lantern) no one really gIves a crap about any character DC has or what color their skin is...

Run One DC heroine nobody seems to ever discuss is Isis. She has control over nature, so she's a lot like Storm, she's exceptionally intelligent and has superhuman speed and strength, more so than Wonder Woman. On top of that, she's hot and had a very interesting backstory. Look her up. She was portrayed in a 1970's Saturday morning series The "Shazzam/Isis Hour".

It would be a great way to add a powerful female superhero without using Vixen or Black Canary -neither of which are very appealing, despite their unique powers and undeniable hotness.

No one ever talks about captain marvel "shazam" he had long been forgot but his back store is good relatable and he has an edge to him. He is the human version of superman. Superman is an extraterrestrial, who dresses up as a nerd because that's what he thinks humans are, weak and nerdy.
