4. 'Iron Man'
Why it was legendary: Because no one expected it. As much as Marvel has been able to make more noise and put on a better show in some of the other years, it was a watershed moment when Jon Favreau walked out on stage and showed that Comic-Con preview to a room full of people who had no idea what they were about to see. It's easy to forget now that people were so skeptical about Marvel's ability to really pull all of this off, and from the moment Robert Downey Jr's take on Tony Stark got a laugh, this team was off and running. They did exactly what every studio wants to do at Comic-Con... they made a big noise, and they convinced that crowd to have faith in them. What more could any filmmaker want from the event?
