George Clooney only has one MTV Movie Award to his name.
You might think George Clooney would be as much of a golden child with the MTV crowd as he is with the Academy. He is, after all, a heartthrob with his share of hits that would appeal to the kids. But while he may have joined Walt Disney back in January of this year as one of only two people to be nominated in six different Oscar categories, he's only been nominated for five MTV Movie Awards (his last one coming way back in 2001). And he's only won once, on his first bid in 1996 for Breakthrough Performance in Robert Rodriguez's "From Dusk Till Dawn." That was a pretty great call when you look at where his career has gone since -- not that his competition that year offered many other enticing choices. Sean Patrick Flanery? Natasha Henstridge? Lela Rochon? Chris Tucker? Yeah. Good call, MTV.
