The 22nd annual show airs April 14
Sandra Bullock and Robert Pattinson are the only two actors to win three MTV Movie Awards in a single year.
Interestingly enough, while the MTV demographic has had its favorites over the years, only two people have ever won three awards in one night. One of them makes perfect sense, and indeed, Robert Pattinson has done it twice, winning the Best Male Performance and Best Kiss (with Kristen Stewart) in 2010 and 2011, adding the Global Superstar award to his 2010 tally and Best Fight to his 2011 tally. The other might be a bit of a surprise, though. Sandra Bullock managed to walk away from the 1995 awards show with three prizes for "Speed": Best Female Performance, Most Desirable Female and Best On-Screen Duo (with Keanu Reeves). She also, by the way, won the MTV Generation Award in 2010, which, you guessed it, was the year she also won the Best Actress Oscar for "The Blind Side." Nice timing, there, MTV.
