It only seems appropriate that one of the most memorable Mr. Darcys be a part of what is becoming an iconic British program. Can't you just see Firth and Hugh Bonneville (the Earl of Grantham) strolling the grounds, talking politics or horses or the trials of marrying off your daughters? We see Firth as the perfect candidate to play a buddy of the Earl's, and if not that? They look enough alike to be related.
