Lowdown: Although most of her recent work wasn't exactly Con material ("The Brave One," "The Beaver," "Carnage"), it's still somewhat surprising that the Oscar winner has never made the trip to San Diego. This year, she arrives with one of the most anticipated sci-fi films of next year -- "Elysium," direct by Neill Blomkamp ("District 9").
