Do we have a new Queen of Sundance ready to be crowned?
Can Bobcat Goldthwait conquer another kind of filmmaking with his documentary debut?
One of the best Sundance moments we've had since starting at HitFix was the year "World's Greatest Dad" premiered at the fest, and Goldthwait has become a festival stalwart with his films since then. Documentaries are a very different prospect, though, and the competition at Sundance can be brutal. It sounds like he found a great subject, though, in the form of Barry Crimmins, and I'm excited to see why Goldthwait felt this was someone worth showcasing.
