'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me' (1992)
Weirdo auteur David Lynch infamously denied audiences any real answers about the enigmatic primetime ABC show by making the anticipated theatrical spin-off a perverse prequel that largely re-tread ground already discussed on the show. "Fire Walk With Me" has some flaws (and was largely dismissed by critics on its release), but has since gained a wide cult following and offers some prime Lynchian digressions. Plus, it has David Bowie in a brief role as a disappearing FBI agent. - DL
