Working with Gary Oldman made Daniel Radcliffe want to be an actor
He's starred on Broadway and the West End, but Daniel Radcliffe didn't realize he really wanted to continue being an actor until he worked with Gary Oldman and director Alfonso Cuaron on "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban."
"t was combination of working with Gary Oldman and the direction I was given from Alfonso Cuaron. It sort of gave me more confidence or more insight into what it is to be an actor. Those moments were definitely around that time. The confidence that Gary gave me because he was very supportive and really great to work with. I thought, 'I want to work with people like you. I don't want to walk away from this. I don't want this to end and [life] suddenly not be so interesting.'"
