Original series composer John Williams wanted to return for the final film and both producers David Barron and David Heyman wanted him back. Unfortunately, even trying to schedule it a few years out, Williams' schedule was just to busy to make it work. Instead, three-time Oscar nominee Alexander Desplat ("The Queen," "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "Fantastic Mr. Fox") is making his debut scoring "Deathly Hallows."
