Best New Artist 1992: Although Marc Cohn still tours and releases the occasional album, it wouldn't be inaccurate to call the musician a one-hit wonder. Marc's self-titled album of 1991 contained that doomed-to-be-stuck-in-your-head ditty "Walking in Memphis," which peaked at number 13 on the pop charts and catapulted the record to its eventual platinum status. On his subsequent albums, Marc worked with legendary musicians like David Crosby, Graham Nash and Bonnie Raitt, but none of his songs ever recaptured the glory of "Memphis."
